Mezzanine Beecomb has been a visual artist since 2000 and has an international following for her paintings of cirque under the name, Mezza9. Her parallel life as a flow artist, fire dancer, and stilt walker for over 15 years has lead her to be recognized as a business leader in the entertainment industry.
The scope of Circus Modern LLC has been doubling each year since adding the children’s division, Just Like Alice in 2022.
Alice refers to the wonder of Alice in Wonderland plus Mezzanine’s Great Grandmother was Alice - a remarkably stubborn woman.
We are grateful for this growth and for the team of over 60 Entertainers | Artists who are the threads of the Bay Area creative, flow arts, and circus culture that is so vibrant and glows so brightly. He studied happiness and creativity; based on research examining people who did activities for pleasure, even when they were not rewarded with money or fame. ... Flow refers to a state of mind which brings together cognitive, physiological and affective aspects.
Mezzanine Beecomb’s life has been an immersive experience in the state of flow and learning techniques on how to spark and embody the flow state.
She is filled with gratitude daily, to work with amazing entertainers and artists who express themselves in many modalities.

Years ago, the performers at Circus Modern started entertaining at Children’s parties in San Francisco’s 9 Bay Area Counties. While Circus Modern continues to expand; in 2022, Just Like Alice was officially formed to meet the needs of parents, and has grown to encompass a wide variety of entertainment.
Just over the Golden Gate Bridge, Just Like Alice is based in Sausalito, California.
The expansion continues with the best in children’s entertainment and circus arts, serving our communities from Monterey to Reno.

Kids and Parents loved the full two hour entertainment. While kids lines up for balloon twisting parents enjoyed their appetizers. The Magic show was a hit with everyone. Great service and very professional!!! Will definitely rehire.
